8 ways chanting creates clearer thinking, calm and focus

️Practical Tips for Overwhelmed Mums
Chapter 5: Om Mani Padmi MUM

8 ways chanting ‘Om Mani Padmi Hum’ creates clearer thinking, calm and focus for overwhelmed mums:

●reduces anxiety and depression
●balances brain chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine
●regulates brain hemispheres
●tunes the endocrine system
●soothes mood
●calms mind
●increases compassion
●creates present moment awareness

It is said the teachings of the Buddha are within this mantra and it is widely used.

I know Tina Turner chants, I’ve saved some on my ‘Be a Warrior not a Worrier’ public Spotify playlist.

I asked my Buddhist Monk friend for his thoughts too on this chant ‘Om Mani Padmi Hum.’

Discover what resonates with you. Maybe practice saying it and notice where you experience it and what you sense

I use malabeads and repeat this mantra 108 times, it’s OK to just randomly repeat it, you could use fingers to count or a timer, make up your own way explore what works for you.

Notice how much clearer, calmer and focused your thinking is afterwards.
